Chairman's Message

Dear Friend,
A caring community is measured by its commitment to provide for its citizens. For over 100 years, Capital Health has been providing quality healthcare services that improve and sustain the health of residents in Central New Jersey and Lower Bucks County, PA. Whether it's to saving lives, stabilizing trauma conditions, delivering babies or setting broken bones, Capital Health physicians and staff bring the highest level of caring and expertise to their professions.
I’ve been affiliated with Capital Health for over 20 years because I have always believed in the importance of good healthcare close to home.
I am also passionate about philanthropy. As a former local business owner, I believe that we have a duty to give back to the community in which we live and work and from which we derive so much benefit, particularly to local hospitals that uniquely impact us all at some point. I am very proud to be part of this caring community where so many of you give your time, talent and resources.
Philanthropy plays a major role in Capital Health’s ability to provide the services our community deserves. Many of Capital Health's recent strides and accomplishments can be attributed to private philanthropic support. For example, the foundation has provided ultrasound equipment, neonatal bassinets, intravenous illuminators and online nursing creditting programs. In addition, charitable support benefits the newly opened Family Health Center that provides comprehensive obstetric, pediatric and adult healthcare services to the uninsured and underinsured population in Trenton. Furthermore, new donors have stepped forward to establish scholarships for students in the Capital Health School of Nursing.
Keeping Capital Health strong and growing benefits all of us. You never know when you or someone you love will need what Capital Health now provides. By giving to the Capital Health Foundation, you help to insure that outstanding healthcare is available close to home for you, your family, friends, and neighbors.
Sincerely,
Miles W. Truesdell Jr.
Chairman
