Capital Health’s Aphasia Community Support Group will present Păh, a documentary about Coleman Watson, a young attorney whose life is disrupted by a massive stroke and the lingering effects of two speech disorders, aphasia and apraxia. Watson documents his journey as he struggles to overcome permanent disabilities and reinvent himself with speech therapy. This moving film ends by posing the question that many people with disabilities grapple with, “When is healing enough, and what can you live with?”
Opening remarks will begin at 10 a.m., with a Q&A after the film. Refreshments will be available. Program is free.
