Better Breathers Club

Join your local American Lung Association Better Breathers Club at Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell. Our club meets regularly on the fourth Tuesday of the month to provide support, education and socialization for people with COPD or other chronic lung diseases, as well as family members and caregivers. Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • How respiratory disease affects the lungs
  • Breathing techniques
  • Exercise and healthy eating
  • Being your own health advocate
  • Medications and other treatment options
  • Medical tests and procedures
  • Supplemental oxygen
  • Navigating the health care system
  • Community resources
  • Air pollution
