Low-grade chronic inflammation can contribute to some of the nation’s most common health conditions, and while no single food can act as a miracle cure, focusing on good nutrition overall can help reduce chronic inflammation and support our health. Join Mindy Komosinsky, a registered and licensed dietitian/nutritionist and certified diabetes care and education specialist from the Capital Health Outpatient Nutrition Counseling Department, to learn about healthier food options. Shauna Alvarez, executive chef at America’s Grow-a-Row, will end the program with a fun cooking demonstration and healthy recipe suggestions.
This event will be taking place virtually using Zoom. A call-in option is available for those without video access. Meeting details will be provided via email 2-3 days before the program date. Registration ends 24 hours before the program date.
