Studies show that rates of depression, suicide, and other mental health concerns significantly decrease when emergency medical services (EMS) personnel are in an environment of encouragement with resources regarding mental health. It is time to be part of the change. Through this course, you will learn the common stress reactions, identify your own risk factors, and explore stress management strategies that fit your lifestyle. You will also learn communication skills and take part in the discussion of mental health for EMS providers.
Please note that some courses will be held virtually using Zoom. Meeting details will be included in the confirmation email after registering. A call-in option is available for those without video access.
