Advancing medicine one patient at a time
“Each year, Capital Health celebrates the best of the best by honoring outstanding nurses with its Excellence in Nursing Practice Awards for continuing our proud tradition of quality patient care,” said Eileen Horton, vice president of Patient Services and Chief Nursing Officer. “The nurses chosen for these awards consistently exemplify the values of our health system – integrity, excellence, compassion and teamwork. This recognition is not only a celebration of these nurses, but for the Mercer and Bucks county communities as a whole who benefit from our high quality patient care.”
Capital Health nurses have earned the prestigious national Magnet® designation three consecutive times. Capital Health is the only healthcare system in Mercer County to have Magnet status and fewer than 400 healthcare organizations out of 6,000 in the United States have attained it.
Congratulations to the following nurses that won awards—all nominated by their peers.
