Dr. Leigh Gilbert Segal is a board certified, fellowship trained rheumatologist with more than 25 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disease and systemic autoimmune conditions that affect the joints, muscles, and bones.
Dr. Segal received her medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, where she graduated with honors, including election to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her internal medicine internship and residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a Harvard University teaching hospital, in Boston, Massachusetts. She was then fellowship trained in rheumatology at the University of California, San Francisco.
Before joining Capital Health – Rheumatology Specialists, Dr. Segal was in private practice in Hamilton, New Jersey, serving patients in the Mercer/Bucks region since 1996. Dr. Segal is a member of the American College of Rheumatology.
Dr. Segal is originally from Dayton, Ohio. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, hiking, reading good books, and spending time with her husband and three children.
