You will be able to discuss your discharge plan with your orthopaedic team to make the best possible plan for your recovery. Most patients go home one to two days after surgery, depending on if any complications arise. Speak with your surgeon about any restrictions after surgery, and be sure to call your doctor to make a follow-up appointment if you do not have one scheduled already. He or she will be able to address any questions you have about your recovery.
