All staff at Oasis Salon & Wellness Spa are licensed and certified in accordance with the rules of the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs/Board of Cosmetology and Licensing. Oasis Salon & Wellness Spa’s professional staff advance their knowledge by continually enrolling in certification course in their various disciplines.
Lu Anne Rickey, Spa Manager & Licensed Cosmetologist
Lu Anne Rickey has been a licensed cosmetologist for nearly 30 years. She started her career as a military spouse and during her travels earned her license to operate and instruct in Missouri, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Lu has extensive training in the cosmetology educational field which led her to be a contributing editor to the 2012 Milady Cosmetology text book. Lu has since worked at salons around the country and recently held a position as a salon manager and corporate trainer with Great Clips. Immediately prior to coming to the Oasis Salon & Wellness Spa, Lu was a full time instructor and Education Leader at the Paul Mitchell School in Ewing, NJ. In addition to managing the Oasis Salon & Wellness Spa, Lu works with the Just For You Center located within the spa, acting as a wig consultant helping those who have experienced hair loss. An appointment can be made with Lu for a precision haircut, shampoo and relaxing scalp massage.
Svitlana Borodina, Licensed Cosmetologist
Svitlana has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2002. She is a Master Designer: Long hair/updo specialist, colorist, and skin care specialist. Svitlana has received training with Vidal Sassoon, Paul Mitchell, and Patrick Cameron Educators. Prior to coming to Oasis Salon & Wellness Spa, Svitlana was a full-time instructor at the Paul Mitchell School in Ewing for nine years. She is fluent in three languages (Ukranian, Russian and English). In her free time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and pets.
James Roslon, LMT, BCTMB
Licensed Massage Therapist
James was trained at the Cortiva Institute, Somerset School of Massage Therapy and has been practicing massage since 2005. He is board certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), and currently holds licenses in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He is also a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). In addition to his ongoing massage training, James holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The College of New Jersey. His combination of experience and education allows him to provide an integrative approach to help his clients achieve their massage treatment goals.
Mary Clewes-Garner, Front Desk Coordinator
Mary makes a positive first impression greeting and receiving our clients with care and professionalism. She takes initiative to keep the spa retail area up to date with popular gift items, using her creativity to design attractive, seasonal displays.
