Dr. Jennifer Schweinsburg is a board certified, fellowship trained critical care surgeon with extensive experience in general surgery and trauma surgery. After receiving her medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Schweinsburg completed her general surgery residency at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey, where she served as administrative chief resident. She was fellowship trained in surgical critical care at Cooper University Hospital’s Department of Trauma and completed a surgical research fellowship at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in Camden.
In addition to her clinical experience, Dr. Schweinsburg served as a clinical instructor in the Department of Surgery at Cooper Medical School. She has published and presented research focusing on trauma and acute care surgery in surgical journals, grand rounds, and regional medical conferences. Dr. Schweinsburg is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the Eastern Association of Trauma.
