Dr. Majmudar completed his fellowship training in gastroenterology and hepatology at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. After receiving his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri, he completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Chicago in Evanston, Illinois.
Dr. Majmudar is board certified in internal medicine. His research is published in medical journals such as Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Journal of Surgical Oncology and has been cited by the World Health Organization (WHO). He has also presented research at national and international medical conferences such as the American College of Gastroenterology Annual Meeting and received multiple research awards. Dr. Majmudar is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
In his spare time, Dr. Majmudar enjoys backpacking off the beaten path with his wife, writing and performing music and spending time with family and friends.
