Dr. Tannenbaum grew up in the western suburbs of Philadelphia. He is the son of a doctor and the youngest of four children, three of whom are physicians. He completed his undergraduate education in 1987, graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology. From there he went on to University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, graduating in 1991. He completed his residency in Obstetric & Gynecology at Abington Memorial Hospital, serving as chief resident in 1995.
After initially practicing in the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC, he returned to the Bucks County area in 1997. For the next 18 years, he practiced with several groups in the area. During this time, he focused on medical student and resident education. Dr. Tannenbaum has special interests in advanced laparoscopy and robotic-assisted laparoscopy and has been a trainer for the industry since 2008. He joined Women’s Specialists of Bucks County in 2015.
