To meet the growing demand for quality care, we must expand and renovate our existing facilities, bring new Capital Health locations closer to more residents in our region, and improve the well-being of our neighbors by leveraging our role as an anchor institution and an economic driver.
We see the future clearly, and we see what it means for our patients and our region. This is what fuels us — helping and healing our neighbors and our community for the health and well-being of today and tomorrow.
What Does It Take To Redefine Patient Care In Our Region?
It takes a bold vision grounded in a total commitment to serve our community. At Capital Health, we have a relentless focus on the future. Guided by our mission and focused on the ever-evolving needs of our community, we continue to redefine patient care in our region with our investments in exceptional physicians, nurses, facilities, and technology.
That mission has been part of our DNA from the beginning. Six visionary doctors gathered in a Trenton home more than a century ago to create the hospital that we now know as Regional Medical Center. They were pioneers seeking to improve the health and well-being of our neighbors and would be proud of the tertiary acute care hospital that Capital Health is today.
Energized by that commitment, we continue to build astonishing momentum. In recent years, we have opened new facilities and renovated existing ones throughout Mercer County and hired specialists who are leaders in their respective disciplines meeting the changing needs of people who live in our region. As the communities that surround us continue growing, along with their residents’ needs, we must keep pace.
The story of our second century? Expanding access. Capital Health will never rest. Wherever there is a need for care in our community, we will rise to meet that need. Our patients and our partners have been clear with us: The challenge that cries out for vision and investment is access to high-quality healthcare.
To expand the reach and impact of our providers, we have launched The Campaign for Capital Health, the largest fundraising campaign in our institution’s history.
Energized by that vision, we invite you to join us.
