Dr. Rahul Solanki, a board certified, fellowship trained sleep medicine physician, brings a wealth of knowledge and more than a decade of diverse clinical experience spanning several states to Capital Health Center for Sleep Medicine. Having grown up in the mid-Atlantic Region, Dr. Solanki is proud to use the expertise and the experience he has gained at the most prominent academic institutions and health care systems in the country to help the residents of his region with their sleep-related needs.
After receiving his medical degree at Jefferson University’s Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Solanki completed a family medicine residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Flemington, New Jersey. He then went on to the highest level of specialty training and completed a fellowship in sleep medicine at Hackensack Meridian Health in Brick, New Jersey.
For the past several years, he has been an attending physician at the Mount Sinai Health System in New York, New York. He has also served as director of Primary Care for Executive Health Exams in New York City.
Prior to joining Capital Health, Dr. Solanki spent the earlier part of his career with Kaiser Permanente and the Southern California Permanente Medical Group in Los Angeles, California. He has also worked with the University of Miami Health System in Coral Gables, Florida as an attending physician for University Student Health and as a faculty member at the Miller School of Medicine.
