Dr. Uma Panganamamula is a board certified in obstetrics and gynecology with more than 15 years of experience and has been in practice in both community and hospital settings in Philadelphia and New Jersey since 2004. Dr. Panganamamula provides comprehensive obstetrical care for both high-risk and low-risk patients. She is an expert in diagnosis and management of a variety of gynecological conditions ranging from adolescent gynecological problems, abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts. In addition, Dr. Panganamamula is a skilled gynecological surgeon, performing a variety of complex surgeries and minimally inavsive procedures, including but not limited to hysterectomy and myomectomy. She has been a practicing OB/GYN physician at Capital Health since 2011.
Dr. Panganamamula received her medical degree at Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India and completed her OB/GYN residency at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. She completed a second OB/GYN residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining Capital Health, Dr. Panganamamula was a clinical instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Temple University School of Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, has published research in peer-reviewed medical journals, and presented research at national conferences and hospital grand rounds. She is currently an adjunct assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, New Jersey.
Dr. Panganamamula is proficient in English, Hindi and Telugu. In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, hiking and traveling with family.
