Emma Marsden is a certified nurse midwife and registered nurse with experience providing care before and during childbirth. Emma received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and her Master of Science in Nursing: Midwifery and Women’s Health degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is also a women’s health nurse practitioner and a certified lactation counselor.
Before joining Capital Health, Emma provided care in labor and delivery, reproductive health, and obstetric triage in hospital settings and private practices in and around the greater Philadelphia region. She also has experience in medical surgical telemetry and inpatient hospice care.
As a volunteer, Emma has worked with organizations that advocate for victims of rape, the LGBTQ community, arts and healing programs, homeless shelters, and others.
