For the safety and security of our patients and guests as well as our physicians and staff at Capital Health, photo ID visitor passes are issued to guests upon arrival. This enables family and other guests to come to your room both before and after surgery. This also allows them access should you want them to accompany you while meeting with physicians.
In order to be issued photo ID passes, guests will need to have with them one form of photo identification (driver’s license and passport are two examples of acceptable identification). Guests are required to return their photo ID pass to the front desk upon exiting the hospital. For those guests who are returning, your information is stored in our system so that a pass can easily be reissued without re-entering your information and retaking your photograph.
