Program Manager, Institute for Urban Care
Kim Watson is a registered nurse at Capital Health and program manager of the Institute for Urban Care. She has spent 19 years of her nursing career at Capital Health and brings a wide range of experience from her critical care background. Kim is certified in trauma care, with more than a decade of clinical hours at the Bristol Myers Squibb Trauma Center at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, a state-designated level II trauma center and one of only 10 designated trauma centers in New Jersey. She has been a major contributor in new program development, such as the highly specialized Neuro Intensive Care Unit (ICU), which is part of the Capital Institute for Neurosciences. She was part of an elite group as Capital Health Regional Medical Center is recognized as one of only eight Joint Commission certified Comprehensive Stroke Centers in New Jersey and has also earned advanced certification from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. Kim enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking with her dogs and spending time with her family.
