Rebecca Shipkin, MD, MPH
Core Faculty
Dr. Rebecca Shipkin joined Capital Health in 2023 as Core Faculty for the Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Shipkin received her medical degree and completed her residency in family medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She received her Master of Public Health degree (with a focus on social health and behavior) from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, part of Harvard University, in Boston, Massachusetts. She loves working in primary care across the lifecycle and has particular interests in reproductive health, maternal health and breastfeeding medicine. She is passionate about listening to her patients and about addressing social determinants of health with individuals and communities. Outside of the office, Dr. Shipkin loves to instigate impromptu family dance parties, do at-home science experiments with her young daughters, and decorate cakes.
