What drew you to the program: The fact that all the administrative/core faculty members were women was a big attraction. Once I interviewed and visited for accepted applicant's day, I realized this was a place I could see myself working in with people I would be glad to see day in and day out.

Medical School: SUNY Downstate College of Medicine

What drew you to the program: My goal is to practice full scope family medicine with a focus on maternal-child health so I was looking for a program that offers excellent education in prenatal and pediatric care with a large pediatric outpatient population. I was also attracted by the camaraderie, the strong female presence, and the supportive family friendly environment that it fosters.

Ashley Lovenduski, DOAshley Lovenduski, DO

Hometown: Florence, NJ

Medical School: Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine

What drew you to the program: I'm from the area and actually have been a patient through Capital Health Primary Care for many, many years now. I always had a vision in my head of the ideal family medicine physician providing care to their own community. I saw first-hand the emphasis this program places on serving our communities during my audition rotation and was sold. It also didn't hurt that the residents I spent time with on my rotation, were amazing to be around!

Fun Fact: I enjoy running, especially early in the morning before sunrise. I have run several half-marathons and completed my first full marathon in April 2023. I have many plans to continue running both half and full marathons during residency!
